We held a one-day research to practice conference on Language and Literacy in Deaf Children at Frank Barnes. We had a great turn-out with approximately 130 people – mainly teachers of the deaf and speech and language therapists working with deaf children. There were six research presentations followed by a practitioner-led panel discussion on the implications of our research for practitioners. The day went brilliantly and the room was really buzzy with everyone being excited about the research and asking us to host more of these events! Here is the programme and some photos from the day. Please contact us if you’d like copies of any of the presentations.
