BSc Psychology student and research assistant

Melissa Hussain Khan was part of the Ladder Lab from 2023 to 2025. She completed her BSc project in the Ladder Lab in 2023 investigating the relationship between preschool home literacy and later reading and vocabulary knowledge in deaf and hearing children. She then returned to work for us in 2024 and 2025 as a temporary research assistant in the lab helping collect data in schools. She now works as a mental health support worker in schools.
